GIGABYTE has unveiled the AI TOP ATOM, a desktop-class AI supercomputer delivering 1 petaFLOP of AI compute performance in a compact 1-liter chassis. Built around the NVIDIA Grace Blackwell GB10 Superchip, it brings datacenter-level performance directly to the desktop — ideal for generative AI, LLMs (large language models), and machine learning workloads.
If the design looks familiar, it’s because the AI TOP ATOM closely resembles the NVIDIA DGX Spark, sharing a similar form factor and hardware foundation — but with GIGABYTE’s own compact, desktop-optimized twist.
Compact Supercomputer Performance
The AI TOP ATOM pairs the NVIDIA GB10 Superchip — which combines a 20-core Armv9 CPU and Blackwell GPU architecture — with 128GB of LPDDR5x unified memory and up to 4TB PCIe Gen5 SSD storage. This hardware configuration pushes up to 1,000 TOPS (1 petaFLOP FP4) of AI performance, enabling it to handle models with up to 200 billion parameters, or 405 billion parameters when two systems are interconnected.
Despite its extreme performance, the unit fits in a 150 × 150 × 50.5 mm enclosure weighing just 1.2 kg, making it one of the smallest fully integrated AI workstations ever produced.

Scalable Desktop AI
The AI TOP ATOM can operate independently as a standalone AI workstation or be scaled into a dual-system setup through the ConnectX-7 SmartNIC, achieving aggregate compute capable of running 405-billion-parameter LLMs locally.
This interconnect allows low-latency, high-bandwidth (200 Gbps) data exchange between systems, effectively turning two AI TOP ATOMs into a small, personal AI cluster.
Software Stack and Developer Tools
Out of the box, the AI TOP ATOM supports:
- NVIDIA DGX OS
- Ubuntu Linux
- Full integration with the NVIDIA AI software stack, including CUDA, cuDNN, and TensorRT
GIGABYTE also provides the AI TOP Utility, a custom software suite that simplifies:
- Model download and management
- Local inference and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
- ML/DL workflow automation
- On-device deployment and benchmarking
This combination makes it suitable for AI developers, researchers, and creators who want local AI performance without depending on cloud GPUs.
Ports & I/O Overview
- Front/Rear USB-C ports for peripherals and expansion
- HDMI 2.1a for high-resolution displays
- 10GbE for fast networking
- Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless connectivity
- SmartNIC support for scaling and multi-node AI workloads
The GIGABYTE AI TOP ATOM is now available through Newegg and select resellers. Pricing varies by storage configuration:
- 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD – $3,499.99
- 4TB PCIe 4.0 SSD – $3,899.99
